Brad Stephenson hired to expand Murray Insulation’s New Home Construction Services
Born in Kansas City, MO, Brad Stephenson, is a home town boy and was raised in Leawood, KS by his father, Scott, is a CPA and CFA who currently works at Commerce Bank and his Mother, Pam,who is a Certified Day Trader and stay at home mom. Brad grew up with his sister, Catie Beam. She is married to Joel, and they have a son named Marc. They reside in Las Vegas, NV
Brad married Catherine Murray (daughter of Tom and Judy, owners of Murray Insulation), who last year moved her dance studio from her bedroom in her parents’ home to a space in downtown Parkville Commons, called Catherine’s Dance School of Performing Arts. They have a beautiful , joy-filled daughter, Claire who is celebrating her 1st birthday on year May 21.
Brad attended Blue Valley North High School. After high school Brad attended The University of Kansas where he studied Communications and Business. He has a Master’s Degree in Business from Baker University.
After graduating, Brad spent 4 years in the logistics industry at Freightquote, Inc. working in operations, sales, and analytics.
Taking time for one of his biggest passions, Basketball, he worked with the Great American Basketball League (GABL) providing basketball knowledge and skills to the Kansas City youth from 2009-2013.
Brad says, “Basketball is a love of mine. I have played basketball my entire life. I was a 3 year letter winner at Blue Valley North, intramural champion in college, and continue to participate in recreational basketball today.”
Since his hire at Murray Insulation, he has gained knowledge and experience both in the office and in the field learning the construction/insulation industry. Even though it has only been a short time Brad knows he has learned more than he could have ever imagined. His day to day tasks involve a number of procedures and systems such as: work orders, auditing inventory, receiving customer/sales calls and emails, measuring new homes for insulation bids/estimates, targeting/prospecting potential customers, and building new relationships.

Although he is new to the insulation industry, Brad is not new to business and is anxious and determined to build a positive reputation for himself and be a part of the growing success of Murray Insulation.
